A soggy start to August but the mild temperatures continue, much to the delight of golfers and farmers alike!

Weekends competition was medal; Saturday: 1stSheldon McNamara 65, 2ndMalcolm Wood 66, 3rdColin Whibley Smith and John Warner 70. Twos: Malcolm Wood (2), Dayle Scrimshaw, Chris Ranish and Patrick Pedlow. Sunday: 1stJohn Warner 67, 2ndMalcolm Wood and Trevor Hawkins 70, 4thDerek Stephens 72. Good luck to the ladies who are heading off to Fiji this Saturday to play in the Denerau Womens Golf Classic – I hear that the fancy dress themes are infamous!
