Marquis Sheild is underway and the lads played in challenging conditions on Sunday at Featherston. The nor west was showing off and local knowledge was key. Wins in the four ball to Chris Ranish and Sheldon Mc Namara, Alistair Boyne and Peter Hudson and Dayle Scrimshaw and Gary Cuttance. In the singles Chris Ranish, Sheldon Mc Namara, Alistair Boyne and Gary Cuttance.


The Silver Pennant team met Miramar at Otaki on Monday, wins in the four ball to Kris Chamberlain and Anna Possenniskie 1 Up. Sandra Petersen and Sherrry Weatherstone all square. 
Wins in the singles to Anna Possenniskie 5/4 and Sherry Weatherstone  6/4.

The Bronze team nipped over the hill to Heretaunga to play Te Marua, play was abandoned, and the retailers were happy to see them.
The Nine holers  played a Par round with Jan Ferguson winning the day with +3 on a c/b to Jenny Tosswill 3rd Ann Renall. All Teed Up NTP went to Barbie Cox.

The Wednesday gals paired up to play four ball best ball matchplay as both Silver and the Bronze Pennant teams have this format in their Competition this year.

No scheduled Mens Competitionon this weekend due to the Wellington Womens 36 hole stroke play  Tournament.
Thirty five entered the tournament this year and though entry numbers were down the field had some quality players. Two Divisons.
0-12 handicap Darae Chung from Shandon put together two magnificent Par rounds to win the Tournament  with a Gross 146.  2nd by one shot  Erika Cui Gross 147. 3rd Kellie Orchard from RWGC Gross 149 4th Fiona Mc Bride of Otaki Gross156. Nett 1st Wendy Rhodes, 2nd Yuriko Manabe Stableford 1st Sandra Petersen 2nd Karen Musson. In the 12.1 to 40.4 Div Jacinta Keenan Gross 178. 2nd Martinboroughs Ju Allen Gross 180 on a c/b to Christine Doughty Nett 1st Roselee Thurston. 2nd Linda Watkins Stable ford 1st Rosemary Burns. 2nd Britta Fraser.

The Julie Murphy Jug was played on Sunday with wins to Wairarapa from Wendy Rhodes 3/1, Sereana Phillipps 3/2, Kris Chamberlain all square and Cheycoda Cocks 2/1. Unfortunately we lost the jug 4.5 to 3.5 to Wellington.
