Tuesday Tome 15th March 2022

Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help with the coring yesterday and also to Sandra Petersen for providing morning tea.

Coming up this week we have the Featherborough Tournament on Thursday – registration from 11.00am with the draw being done at 11.30am for a 12.00 noon tee off.

On Saturday Div 11 are playing at home hosting Te Marua and Div 3 are away at Miramar.

Sunday is the Dick Bennett Memorial 4BBB Stableford – if you put your name down for the original date and will be playing this weekend please let me know if you haven’t already done so.  Registration is 10.00am teeing off at 11.00am.

I have a couple of gentle reminders (and if I have to remind you all again it won’t be so gentle!).

Firstly, if you wish to come out and play on a Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday morning or Thursday afternoon you will have to give way to those who are playing in the competition and you must book and register with the office when you arrive.

Secondly, for those of you playing on the weekend when you go to print your card can you please read the screen and not just press yes to everything – if you are not in the competition then press NO.  It isn’t rocket science – read the screen!!!!

Thirdly, if you take a cart out when you bring it back please remember to plug it in and lock the gate and return the key to the office.

Onto results from last week:  Grumpies played a Par round with Pete Halstead winning on a countback from Sandy Bidwill on +2, Jason Shaw and Nick Allen +1 and Ed Elworthy and Andy Morison -1.  Ro Griffiths was the only one to get a two.
