COURSE SIGNAGE & IMPROVEMENTS
Winter is always a challenging season to operate machinery while keeping the course looking and playing great. Credit to Michael, Duncan & Geoff as always.
Carts – for clarification this includes all hire carts, private carts, 2 and 3 wheel scooters or any other motorised contraption. Check with the Office prior to playing if carts are allowed or not, to avoid disappointment.
For those players with their own ‘cart’ please pop in to the Office and they will give you a copy of the cart map (where to drive when wet).
We have moved the cart bridge from #8 to the left hand side of #6 in an effort to direct traffic away from the narrow area between the 6th green and 7th tee. Please take your trundlers this way as well.
The cart bridge on #7 behind the 14th tee is damaged and will be replaced. Carts are not to use this bridge, trundlers only please.
More cart signage is to be placed.
Carts are also NOT to be taken over tee boxes! Please keep 2m away. Both visitors and members have been seen driving over tee boxes.
FROSTS & CHECKING IN
Please bear in mind If you book before 09:30 and there is a frost, your booking will be moved to the next available tee time (from earliest booking to latest booking).
ALL players whether members or visitors are required to check in so the office staff can keep abreast of the day’s bookings and provide any pertinent information (i.e. if carts are permitted on fairways or not).
If you haven’t checked in your slot may be allocated to someone else (it is acceptable that one person in your playing group checks in).
A reminder you can Book your Tee time via the App, or our website.
WEBSITE
We are hoping to start planning a new website soon which will include a members portal. The website will be linked to DotGolf and will enable us to communicate club information and updates more effectively including things like the course status, if carts are allowed, newsletters etc.
Happy hacking,
—
