Thursday Club – Stableford 19 Feb – 1st Lloyd Warren & Mike Charteris 39 points, 2nd Ailsa Malneek 38 points, 3rd Ro Griffiths 36 points. Mike had a winning day! Along with 1st place he also scored the only Two on #8, and Nearest the Pin on #8.
Weekend Comps – Medal/Putting 21 Feb – No entries today
Weekend Comps – Medal/Putting 22 Feb – 1st Trevor Petersen 66 points, 2nd Doug Clark 70 points, 3rd Matt Taplin (Takapuna), John Warner, Bob Schofield 71 points. Trevor won the Putting with 28 putts. Twos for John Warner on #6, Paul McKenzie & Bob Schofiled on #16.
Steps for entering Weekend Comps – 1. Select Yes/No to the Comp when getting your card, 2. If you selected Yes, pay $5 cash to the Office immediately, and 3. Write your name in the Comp book.
Ladies –
18 holes – Results From Wednesday 18 Feb. 1st Marion McKenzie +4, 2nd Bindy McLeod +2, 3rd Karen Shaw +1, 4th= Jenny Wilkie, Carol Parkinson -2. NTP #6 Sandra Petersen and #8 Angela Busby. The only Two had was Adele Cairns on #16.
9 holes – We played both Par and Putting competitions. Putting winners being: Jenny Joblin with only 15 putts, and our new member Tamyka Hayes with 17 putts. Just as well we had two clear winners as four others came in with 18 putts. Our Par competition was won by Sherryl Howie with +2, and Lizzy Thomson played to her handicap with ‘0’. Closest to the pin on the front 9 goes to Lizzy and the back 9 to Helen Williams. Well done everyone.
