Hello Golfers.
9-hole Ladies update– After 2 weeks off due to weather and coring of the greens, it was great to see some sun on the course last week! The greens were tricky to read after the coring work! But looking great.
Wednesday 19th March saw us play the first round of our Thurlow 4BBB with some impressive pairs. This competition is played over another 2 rounds. And the individual winners Stableford round were – 1st Sarah Harvey 25 points, 2nd – Jo Guscott 22 points, 3rd equal – Tingay Davidson, Sherryl Howie, and Lizzy Thompson all on 21 points.
This coming Wednesday will see us travel to Masterton for the Southey Honda competition. We look forward to a strong contingent representing Martinborough Golf Club.
Thursday Club Stableford results from 27 March – 1st Graham Wilson 44 points, 2nd Mariana McDermott 43 points, on a countback from 3rd David Kershaw. Mariana scored a Two on #6, and Twos on #8 for Bob Schofield, Brian Russo, Kris Mason, Johnson Williams, and Jason Shaw. Nearest the Pin was Kris Mason.
