Hello Golfers
GRAND GOLF DAY is back thanks to the Greytown Orchards Retirement Village. The flyer for this ANZAC weekend tournament is attached, it includes best Grandma/Grandpa as well as Best Intergenerational pair (some familles will be able to enter a few pairs we reckon!), The Bill Jones “Shoot Your Age” trophy (last year Ro Griffiths shot UNDER his age), and the Committee/staff Ngahau Trophy.
REMINDER – Member For Life application forms were sent out last week – complete the form; send it in to the office; and we will generate you an invoice for payment (sometimes there will be adjustments to make for those who have already paid this year’s subs). This is a great way to help your club and never have to justify your golf subs again 😉
AUTUMN ON THE GREENS – our inaugural flagship 3-Day Women’s event (which sold out in January) is here 21-23 May. The attached letter from Jo Loe and committee is seeking hole sponsors. And, there’s a handy form to complete if you’re in. It’s a great way to help your club establish this new event. We’ll also be in touch with a notice of a working bee prior to the event to help our course look its best.
NEW COURSE LAYOUT – Starting a round? Remember Hole 1 is now outside the clubhouse! Yesterday we officially switched to the new course layout, your cards are automatically updated, as are the new stroke holes. We have temporary tee signs to help you find your way around. Our thanks for your overwhelming support of this change.
