Tuesday Tome 13th September 2022

There was no Tuesday Tome last week as I was taking a break from the office.

It was good to see carts back out on the course at the end of last week – shame the weather had to spoil it over the weekend.

Can I please remind all members that the only time you can practice on the course before a round is if you are playing matchplay.  It has been noted that some of you are practising on the 18th green before going out to play Thursday Club.

Coming up this weekend we are hosting the Martinborough School Ambrose on Saturday morning so the course will be closed until early/mid afternoon and on Sunday Wellington Golf are holding their half yearly meeting followed by golf  with approximately 70 players and multiple tees will be used so if you are going to be playing you will need to be patient because it could be slow.

Sunday 25th September is the AB Martin Mixed Foursomes (otherwise known as the Mixed Divorcesomes!!) – this is a fun event and there are always a number of amusing  stories to be told afterwards – please let me know if you wish to play  – if you need a partner let either Carol or myself know and we will endeavour to find someone for you.

1st and 2nd October is the Mens 54/36 Hole Open – it would be good to see a number of our members playing in this and maybe you could invite one or two of your friends.
