This week we start with some very exciting news – last Sunday was the final round of the Marquis Shield and going into it our boys were equal first with Eketahuna and Pahiatua in the Marquis Shield and in the Sutherland Trophy half a point behind Pahiatua. In the end the Shield was won by half a point from Pahiatua and the Trophy by half a point from Pahiatua. The Marquis Cup (Off Stick Singles Wins) was also won by half a point. A great result so congratulations to each and every one of you who played for the team this season.
Course is once again open and here’s hoping that we don’t get too much rain this week. On Sunday morning we have a large group booked in to play from 8.30am off multiple tees but hopefully this won’t affect those of you who wish to play later in the day.
