Grand Day of Golf – Results from Sunday 27 April. Fantastic weather and a wonderful turnout. Thank you to everyone that came along to enjoy the day, and to Greytown Orchards Retirement Village for their sponsorship. Winner of the Men’s Ngahau Trophy Tim Loe with 41 Stableford points, Women’s Ngahau Trophy winner Jo-Anne Loe 40 Stableford points, Grandpas winner was Barry Johnson 48 Stableford points, and the Grandmas winner was Lorraine Little 50 Stableford points. Non-Grandpas winner Brett Abercrombie 42 points, Non-Grandmas winner Julie Warner 44 points. The Bill Jones ‘Shoot Your Age’ winner Ro Griffiths. Best Junior was Hunter Smith, Best Intergenerational pair Hunter Smith & Andrew Smith. Great to see a Nearest to the Pin going to a Junior, our own Freddie Gloag.
Grumpies – early start on Tuesday 6 May – 10am. Clubhouse/Bar closed for private function 4-6pm.
Thursday Club results 24 April – Stableford – 1st Mike Charteris 43 points, 2nd Craig Oldfield 42 points, 3rd Martin Napier 42 points. Two twos for Bevan Sweeney and Shane Hislop both on #6 and #8. David Weir on #6, Derek Stephens, Chris Ranish, Malcolm Wood, and Brent McKinlay on #8, and on #12 Sarah Monaghan. Nearest to the Pin was Bevan Sweeney.
