Grumpies – Stableford 2 Jun – 1st: Malcolm Wood 35 points, 2nd: Richard Waddy, Wayne Thurston, Malcolm Bridge 34 points. Twos on #8 for Seamus O’Sullivan, Robbie Walters, Malcolm Wood, and on #16 for Bob Schofield.
Ladies –
9 holes – A semi final game for the Howie Cup was played between Tamyka and Gaylene. This was a close game with Gaylene taking the win by one hole. We played a Nett Round, and the winners were Jenny Tosswill 36 Nett, Leonie Wilde 37 Nett, and Sarah Harvey 39 Nett. Closest to the pin went to Jenny Joblin and Melissa Riddiford.
18 holes – Results from last week’s LGU – 1st: Marion McKenzie 71 Nett, 2nd: Emily Loughnan 71 Nett, 3rd: Bindy McLeod 73 Nett, 4th: Bernadette Pither 77 Nett, 5th: Ju Allen 77 Nett. NTPs #10 Jenny Wilkie and #16 Julie Dondertman. Winner of the Putting was Alison Tipler with 29 Putts.
Thursday Club – Stableford 4 Jun – 1st: Mike Charteris, Chris Ranish, Brett Abercrombie 39 points, 2nd: George Kirk, Andrew Sim 38 points, 3rd: Paul Riddiford, Ed Elworthy, Al Petrie, Ray Matthews, Dave Stephenson, Andy Morison 37 points. Ed Elworthy NTP #10. Twos for Jason Shaw #8, James Elworthy #10, Paul Riddiford #16.

Stableford 7 Jun – 1st: Bevan Sweeney 41 points, 2nd: Bruce Ward 40 points, 3rd: Phil Eberlein on countback from Stu Taplin 39 points. A Two for Julie Dondertman & Steve Croft on #10. And with two twos on holes #4 and #16 for Kingi Kaiwai, he also claims the Birdsnest! Congratulations, Kingi!
