Club Champs – This weekend, Saturday 31 Oct, are the Club Champs finals across all men’s and women’s grades. Most games are 36 holes, so come along in the afternoon to follow them around the course, or relax in the clubhouse and watch them go by.We’ll be publishing the finalists later in the week, but do come by and support them on their big day.

Trophies – If you have any club trophies at home, please return them to the office clean and polished at your earliest convenience.

Ladies 9 holes – The 9 hole group hosted 74 players to a very successful Open Day and Gazley Cup Tournament on Wednesday. The Overall Results of the Open Tournament and Gazley Cup: Women’s Open Tournament – Kate Bunny from Masterton. Men’s Open Tournament – John Thomson (MGC). Gazley Cup Women – Kate Bunny from Masterton. Gazley Cup Men’s – John Thomson (MGC). Congratulations also to Judy Bragan for gaining 2nd in Women’s B Division with 20 Stableford points and a Two on #8. And Pete Price (MCG) who got a Two on #10 and came third in the Men’s Division. Well played Martinborough!

Ladies 18 holes – A number of the 18 hole ladies helped out or played in the 9 hole Tournament. The other keen beans played a round at The Gobbler (a stunning six-hole golf course with par 3 and par 4 holes. Situated in the beautiful Longbush Valley, the course offers a few challenges and has a range of different tee sites, allowing for six or more holes in a round), followed by lunch at The Gladstone Inn.
