Part 5 of 6. Golf Etiquette. Priority on the course – Unless otherwise determined by the Committee, priority on the course is determined by a group’s pace of play. Any group playing a whole round is entitled to pass a group playing a shorter round. The term “group” includes a single player.
An extra today since the section on Priority on the course is short.
Dress to Impress (or at Least to Show Respect): A reasonable standard of dress applies both on the course and in the clubhouse. Singlets, jandals, and bare feet? Not today, thanks!
Hats: Always remove your cap or visor the moment you step indoors.
Respect the Course: Help keep the course in great condition by replacing divots, raking bunkers after use, and repairing ball marks on the greens. Leave the course better than you found it.
Mind Your Language: Please keep language respectful. Offensive or coarse language is not acceptable on the course or in the clubhouse.
Bin It, Don’t Drop It: Please use the bins provided for all rubbish and bottles. Together, we can keep our course looking its best.
