A Priory Vote of Thanks is awarded to a body such as a club, institution, or a business concern or to individuals for conspicuous services to St John.
The Prior, The Right Honourable Dame Patsy Reddy, Governor General of New Zealand, on the recommendation of Priory Chapter has awarded a Priory Vote of Thanks to the Martinborough Golf Club for their exceptional service to the work of St John.
For the past eight years the Martinborough Golf Club has allowed St John to organise a charity golf tournament during the St John appeal week.
The club has made no charge for running this event with all proceeds going to St John.
St John Wairarapa has benefited by receiving over $65,000 to further their work in the district.
We are indebted to the club for their most generous support of our organisation.
